Story about an interesting day of mine...

As I promised you last time, I'll write about an interesting day of mine. :)

It started as a completely usual autumnal day: the sun was shining (which made me glad, because I always have better mood if the sun is shining :) ) and the temperature was also very nice, neither too high, nor too low, just perfect. I was lying in my bed and I was organising my daily programs (as I do it usually). This morning I didn't have to hurry, because my lesson would be starting at noon, so I had enough time to relax. I was wondering about this kind of weather, when I had got an sms message. Finally I had got some money from the university! I'd been waiting for that for two months! I think this was a very good moment and it really started the day :)

So, I got up and decided to do all my financial affairs before the lesson. These affairs mean: paying the monthly fare of the dormitory and buying something for my brother's birthday (he's 16 years old) but not spending all the money at once, of course.

When I left the dorm, the rain was falling (this phenomenon is kind of a Murphy's one: if the sky is cloudy and I leave the dorm, it's always raining :( ). After paying the sum, I got a new sms from one of my classmates that the lesson held at noon was going to be cancelled. Hurray! Now I had a huge amount of time to think about my brother's birthday-present. :)

So I took a bus and went to have a look at some shops in the Árkád to find something good for my brother. To tell the truth, I don't really like buying gifts, because I don't really know what he would be happy about. But that day I was lucky, because I could find a cool DVD-movie for him in the first shop. The whole searching lasted only for an hour :)

Then I returned to the dorm. I didn't know what to do. My next lesson started at 4:30 and I had almost 3 hours left! This lesson would be about the results of our midterm tests and some English grammar, for which I had no mood, to tell the truth (wow! it's a little bit The Catcher in Rye-style :D ). I thought I would travel home, because that lesson is very boring and being at home on Thursday would be cool. :) But I changed my mind and decided to stay in Pécs and go to the lesson, because I was interested in my results for the test.

So, I had lunch (I was eating slowly, because I didn't have to hurry at all) then I was listening to some music, and after that I was reading the daily newspaper.

Then it was time to go to the lesson. Everybody was there waiting for the teacher and all of the students were there for getting to know the results. We entered the classroom and sat down. Finally the teacher came. He also sat down and started his speech this way:

" Hello everyone. I have some bad news for today. The first is that I haven't corrected your tests. And the second is that I think I have left them somewhere, because I don't remember where have I put them, so I can't find them now. "

Huh, this was a shock for me! The only reason why I was in that lesson was the result of my midterm test; that's why I hadn't travelled home!!! :( During the lesson everybody was nervous and upset because of the same reason. :((

At the dorm I decided to write about this day, because it was so extraordinary for me. :)Oh, and I've jut got a phone call that I should visit my dentist tomorrow evening..... :(Now, I can say that this information has ruined my whole day (I don't really like dentists!), which started so beautifully in the morning.......

I hope you have enjoyed this story.
Bye-bye!

And it's still raining now! Sitting in my office, working, reading :) blogs.

That really was bad news, that loss of your test. What did you expect would have been your score? But those tests are obviously somewhere now. Maybe they'll be found? Would that :) be good news?

yes, i enjoyed the story, because i had that day too, but maybe from an other point of view. :) i was happy about the missing tests, because i didn't do a frenetic job. the thing that ruined my other day was the moment when our teacher finally found the tests. :) it happens :D
