I've been confused since the last weekend's restitution of watches: my "usual" daily routine got ruined. I can stay up until 2 a.m. but I cannot get up in the morning so suddenly. In order to start my mornings, I have to do several things.
First of all, I set my phone to wake me up 30 minutes earlier than I would do. Thanks to this I can relax a little bit and I can think through the events of the whole day.
Secondly, I use cold water for washing my face. I know that it sounds drastically, but I feel that only this can help me to start the day.
After that I turn on the radio and listen to some music and if I find something enjoyable, I do a little gymnastics.
Finally, I have breakfast and vitamins.
Because of my tiredness I have to apply all of these methods but finally I get ready for a fatiguing school-day.

Yes, these are good ideas and usually they help me too to wake up, but you have to be careful with your alarm clock, as you push the "snooze" button so often, once you can push the "turn off" button and you'll be overslept.I know.:) But it's good that you can have time for some gymnastics and for having breakfast too. Congratulations! Unfortunately I have to learn that "getting up routine".
I often stay in bed an extra 10 mins in the morning. Excercise sounds very energetic. I always lack energy in the mornings. Brrr...to cold water. No, thanks. I rather drink my coffee. :)
But if all these work for you, that's great!
Zsuzsis stay together in this process, as well - I do really the same routine each morning:)! And since I've started to practise Yoga, my days start more than energetic;)!
Hi Zsuzsi, in the last few weeks i'm also very tired in the mornings, and I'm afraid it's getting worse and worse as the exames are coming..but these are really good ideas! Let me share my routines with you: I always get up very early, and never my phone alarm wakes me up but the radio or a good cd track that I adjusted in the player in the evening. I always do some exercises for 20 minutes in the morning and after that comes a good cold shower and a face wash..well in the middle of the day it's benefit disappeares but at least my morning is great..particulary when the sun is shining..
Zsuzsi! It looks like you can get up if you do a lot of things as you wrote. For me the morning, especially on mondays, the worst thing of the world. I usually say, my friends think it's funny, that in the mornings I have to resurrect, not get up...
