This week has been the best since September. There have happened so many events that changed my life.
The greatest news is that I can continue my further studies in Pécs, because the accreditation of the Italian MA was successful. This means that I don't have to move to another city. Well, getting to know a different town, a different uni wouldn't be bad, but it would take me a lot of time to integrate into a new community. To tell the truth, it took me a little more than a year to feel that I am home in Pécs.
The other good event was that I could talk to my consultant. The topic that I have chosen (The conception of the night in the era of Ugo Foscolo) is unique because there are no thesis that deal with this issue. So, it seems that I'll be the first who writes about this. My teacher gave me some guiding lines, which helped me a lot because I hadn't known how to start my writing.
The third thing that was enjoyable in this week was going to the cinema with my friend. The film (Mamma mia) was extremely good: I liked the story, the scenes, the plays of the actors/actresses and the songs, of course. This film made me happy and was a good one for entertainment.
And finally....I will live in the Balassa Dormitory again! The whole procedure was adventurous, but it was worth. It will be cheaper, I will have a stable Internet, I will see my friends again and the circumstances for studying will be more sufficient.
So, I'm very happy now and I feel that I'm in the right place again! :)

Changes
It's October! So soon, I just cannot really believe it! I'm over September.
The first month of this school year was quite interesting for me. I had to get used to several things.
First, I'm living in a flat (instead of the dorm, which makes me sad). It's very close to the uni, so I don't have to get up so early to arrive at my lessons. Due to this fact I can save a lot of time and I don't have to be in a hurry all the time.
Secondly, my flatmates are very kind students, I can easily get on well with them. Although they have a little bit different lifestyle than me, but we can tolerate each other. :)
Thirdly, as this is my third academic year, I have to write my BA thesis in Italian. Well, it makes me a headache. The length should be around 20 pages. As for the topic, I'm in trouble. I would like to write about literature, more precisely about Ugo Foscolo compared with other authors in his era. This sound well, but it's not narrow and precise for a thesis. So I have to consult with my teachers.
Fourthly, I have to learn how to control the time in order to have enough of it for everything: for efficient studying, for friends, for having a rest and for pleasure. It means a really big challenge for me, but I'll try to do my best, of course. ;)
See you soon!

August...
Sorry that I haven't written so far but I had a lot of things to do.
First, I was working at a local hotel, called Nereus. It's a 3-star building right next to the coast of the Balaton. I was working as a waitress in August. This work was very interesting because it was completely different from all the works I had done before and I could get to know how a restaurant functions. Basically I had to bring the prepared food to the giuests, but I had other exercises as well. I had to clean the rooms of the restaurant, clean the spoons, knives and forks, plus help the people with the most relevant pieces of information. At the first teading, it might sound as if it was an easy job. Actually it wasn't. I had to be standing all day long or be in movement, so I could sit down only when I was eating. I was working almost every day 8-10 hours each day, so it has became fatiguing by the end of the month. All in all, I enjoyed this period because I could get to know a lot of people, I could eat delicious food and I can work there next summer, too. :)
Secondly, I had to find a flat for the schoolyear because I was rejected from the dormitories where I had applied. :( Fortunately I could find the best flat for me: its prise is not so high and it's very close to everything that is important for me: the uni and my friends :D
Thirdly, I had to compose my brand new order of courses. I will have very good lectures: Italian art history, Italian-Hungarian translation, Romanistics, etc...but the most important for me: FINALLY I CAN STUDY FRENCH! :) I have wanted to do this for 10 years and now I can. :D
So this month was a bit tiring for me but it was full of good news. :)

Holiday
Summer and vacation. These two go together for me. But as for vacation, a question could be raised: where could it be spent? Well, there are two options: staying in Hungary or travelling to abroad to discover new countries.
During the last week I did the second thing. As my major is Italian me and my family chose Italy, more precisely the town of Bibione. It is a relatively small place with 8000 inhabitants in the seaside of the Adriatic sea. This town is ideal for relaxing: lying on the sandy beach and having bath in the sea.
Actually we wanted to have a rest and get rid of the stress (for a while), so we spent almost every day on the beach. :D The weather was fine: the sun was shining all days, the temperature was above 35 degrees and there was a little wind, too.
Besides having rest, we made an excursion to Venice. That city is marvellous! It is one of my favourite places in the world because of its atmosphere and its unique feature: it is built on the water. When we visited the city it was under
renovation so we couldn't see its beauties in the whole. Because this was the first time for my family being in Venice, we made a small circle with a gondola. The whole thing was incredible for us! The boat was navigated throughout small lagoons, moreover we could observe all the famous venetian buildings from the gondola: the Doge's Palace, the Bridge of the Sighs and the ancient prisons.
This vacation has been the best so far because everything was ideal to make it perfect. If someone is planning his/her holiday, I can recommend these places for having a fantastic holiday.

Time to say goodbye...
This time has come. My last school week in Pécs. To tell the truth, this week was one
of the best in my life. I enjoyed some freedom: I could do whatever I wanted.
On Wednesday me and my roommate planned to make an excursion. We went to the downtown of Pécs on foot. The weather was really nice, just perfect for a trip. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the city: the magnificent buildings from the 19th century and the air filled with the smell of lime tree flowers.
On Thursday I went to a party. It was organised by my friend in order to celebrate her birthday and the successful passing of the exams. The band was completely new for me, because there were a lot of people whom I had never seen before. We were talking, playing cards and dancing. This event was entertaining and unforgettable.
On Friday I left the dormitory. Forever. :( Next year I cannot live there, because only medical s
tudents will be allowed because of the construction of the Szent Mór Dormitory. I regret it. This year was really good and everything that made me happy took place in the dorm. I got to know a different company, whom I can rely on any time. I'll keep in touch with them even if we won't see each other so frequently in the future.
While I travelled to home all the memorable events came into my mind (I wrote about some of them earlier). I hope I'll have similar ones next year if I can live in the Szántó Dormitory. :)
Bye then, Pécs! See you in September!

Finish - Part 2
It's incredible!!! I've finished with this extremely long exam period! I'm glad being over it because I thought it would last forever.
Anyway, I tried to do my best and I passed all the exams. I gained 55 credits all together, so I'm very tired now. I feel it's high time for a relaxing summer. :)
So I wish everyone an enjoyable and relaxing summer holiday. Enjoy it! :)

Finish
Oh, yes! We've made it: we survived this long (?) spring semester. (Un)fortunately we're heading for the last school week and I still can't believe it. It makes me sad because I have to realise that the exam period is coming. :(
Anyway, I rely on nostalgia to make a summary about these three months.
February: I had a lot of energy because I was at the beginning of a new term. I could read some books that were not compulsory and I had to spend less time to do my make-ups in the mornings. ;) Besides all these I had to make a process in connection with my courses and this was successful. I could take up almost every lesson that I had/wanted to.
March: I wrote about my accident, which made me pain and the ability to walk carefully. However, these weren't the only advantages. I got in a close relationship with a boy from the dorm. Actually we were (and still are) living by two doors next to each other, but I could have really good talks with him. I was falling in love with him gradually. This period was the beginning of my euphoria.
April: I started losing my energy and realising that I had overestimated myself and taken up more lessons that I would have had to. Thanks to the great events (parties) I could get rid of the tension and do my usual things patiently.
May: End of the happiest period of my life: we splat up. The reason? He is very busy and wouldn't have enough time for a more serious relationship. We sat down and made a compromise: we will remain friends. JUST friends but the emotional background will be a little bit different form now on.
Thanks to these events this period will be dominant in my life.
But before getting depressed, let's prepare for and be successful in the exams! :*

The best book I've ever read
During the last week I find a very interesting book to read.
Its author is Keith Suter who is an Australian consultant on strategic planning. The book I'm reading now deals with the most important 50 questions that can be raised towards world issues, like: Is China the next super power? Can the West win the war on terrorism? Is the world running out of oil? Why did the United States invade Iraq? Will there ever be peace in Israel and Palestine?
The answers seem to be self significant, but the writer considers the asking in every point of view. Thus he can give a wide spectrum and the reader can realise that these international issues are rather complex and their solutions aren't easy at all. I chose this book because I think we should understand what's going on in the world in these days. The style and the language that the writer uses are easy to comprehend so every reader can have a clear picture about the topic Keith Suter is dealing with. I can recommend this book to everyone, because it's a really good one.

Parties
The last two week was pretty crowded by programs for me. Besides my busy daily programs I could participate in some parties, too.
First, as I'm living in a dorm with full of medical students that party was a special one. It started as a competition among the floors. People had to form groups according to which storey were they living. Each group had to different activities, like activity, creating poem by using different and given medical terms (with rhymes, of course) or karaoke. Actually these games were very enjoyable and we had to do our best to obtain the most points. Our exercise was the creation of a poem and it was really hard to write it sensible and meaningful but we succeeded it. The whole point of this type of game turned out when we had to read it. The members of the group had to drink a bottle of beer at every single rhyme. I made a try, but the drink was extremely cold, so I couldn't finish it.
After that we went to the ground floor to dance and entertain ourselves. The kind of music wasn't the best one: only oldies were played. Well, I like listening to those singers (George Michael or Bonny M), but I couldn't really dance on those songs. But the whole athmosphere was pleasant and I enjoyed that night.
The second recent party was the
Italian-Spanish-French Department Evening ( so called "szakest") organised by us. It was considered to be a big event, since the last Eve had been held years ago. The place was in the foyer of the Cinema Uránia and it seemed to be a good decision: the sofas and the chairs were comfortable, everyone could sit on besides the place didn't become crowded. It was just perfect. :) We started with activity and it was really funny. We had to act out things that were in connection with the cultures of those speaking nations (food, traditions, expressions). That game was followed by a real Latin party with Italian, Spanish and French melodies. Unfortunately I had leave earlier but everyone said that this event was really-really good and we should repeat it sometimes in the future. ;)

Murphies
After this two week's lack of inspiration...I would like to write about something really interesting. (I hope it will be at least :) )
So, as you know I travel to home every week. This Friday I was full of baggage, because I had a lot to bring home. Before this Friday the bus was almost empty, but I had only a few packages with me. Yesterday it was a different situation: I had huge luggage and the bus was full of people, moreover I had to be standing until the half of the journey. But if I had had fewer things with me, there wouldn't have been so many people. Anyway, mass is always there when I have much luggage.
I was thinking about the things of life: was it a kind of conspiracy? I mean that the worst things happen to me when I don't really count on them. As I was thinking, several similar issues came into my mind. I want to enlist these Murphy's Laws. Some of them are funny and some of them are true. Enjoy! :)

- If many things can go wrong, they will all go wrong at the same time.
- If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

Mornings...
I've been confused since the last weekend's restitution of watches: my "usual" daily routine got ruined. I can stay up until 2 a.m. but I cannot get up in the morning so suddenly. In order to start my mornings, I have to do several things.
First of all, I set my phone to wake me up 30 minutes earlier than I would do. Thanks to this I can relax a little bit and I can think through the events of the whole day.
Secondly, I use cold water for washing my face. I know that it sounds drastically, but I feel that only this can help me to start the day.
After that I turn on the radio and listen to some music and if I find something enjoyable, I do a little gymnastics.
Finally, I have breakfast and vitamins.
Because of my tiredness I have to apply all of these methods but finally I get ready for a fatiguing school-day.

Violence
Nowadays news is full of violence and aggressive moments. If you watch TV in evening, you'll probably hear about some brutalities taking place in the Middle East. Unfortunately it's almost usual that daily 50 or 100 people die because of explosions and street riots in Iraq.
But we don't have to go so far to get to know about such news. In few weeks time the leading news are about aggressive kids beating up their teachers. I think these situations are very tragic, because it seems to be the result of unsolved conflicts and tension. At this point a question can be raised: whose is the responsibility in these cases? Whom should be blamed about these?
I think this problem has several reasons. We cannot blame only the teachers on not being able to keeping discipline in classroom. We should talk about the family background of these children. I know many people whose parents have aggressive habit, like beating their children if they are unsuccessful in their studies. They just deduce their tensions this way. In my opinion this attitude doesn't lead to solutions, it just makes children behave similarly. In primary schools stronger kids keep terrifying the weaker and/or cleverer ones. These children tend to continue this method in their secondary schools against their teachers.
I'm really desperate about it, because I would like to be a secondary school teacher and I've started to afraid of these cases. I'm thinking of how to solve these events, but I'm unable to find a perfect kind of solution. According to newspapers, teachers have to communicate with these students, or psychologists have to treat them. I can partly agree with them, but I guess we have to change our life style by getting rid of violence towards the others.

Off session
Our last Reading & Writing class was an extraordinary one: it was held outside the university. We went to the American Corner to watch a certain movie entitled Pulp Fiction.
The place had changed a little bit since the last time I was there. The Corner had moved downstairs and 2 classrooms were formed upstairs. As I could see the place had a bigger space on the ground floor, moreover it's much easier to find it.
Our session was held upstairs, so we took the stairs. As we entered the classroom, everybody was amazed: the whole room seemed to be a movie with a plasma TV-set and with comfortable seats. I had a feeling that I came for only to see a great film in a modern cinema instead of having a lesson. After Joe told us some basic information about the Midterm Progress Paper we wrote a page in our Thought book then we started to watch Pulp Fiction.
Although we could see the half of the movie we had a great time. Well, the whole film is about gangsters but they were shown in a very funny way. Almost every scene made us laugh. I also have to mention some actors who did a very good acting in this film, for example John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman. I wouldn't like to tell the whole story, because that would be impossible. The film is composed from smaller episodes and moments shown throughout different points of view.
All in all, this session was very good and joyful. (Thanks, Joe!) I think we should have more lessons in the American Corner. ;)
The place had changed a little bit since the last time I was there. The Corner had moved downstairs and 2 classrooms were formed upstairs. As I could see the place had a bigger space on the ground floor, moreover it's much easier to find it.

Tale in the reality
One morning I opened the local newspaper and I found an interesting news in connection with my hometown.
A few days ago a small wild pig was found in the garden of a family in Balatonalmádi. Well, this isn't surprising, because some part of Almádi is surrounded with forest. (Because of this, there can be seen foxes in autumn.) The animal had been there for some days, because he couldn't find his mother. As a small wild pig, he was friendly and chose the garden as his living place.
But this animal disturbed the neighbour of the family who decided to make a tasty food from him. How cruel people are there! Luckily, the family
called the Zoo of Veszprém, so the wild pig was taken away. What a nice survivor! He has been named Gerzson and he has been treated well. Now he is one of the most visited and liked animal in the zoo. Moreover, he got a female partner called Juliska and now they are living together. :)
I think this news is similar to a modern fairy tale with a very nice ending. :))

Easter holiday
I was surprised when I realised that we have the break so soon. It came into my mind that we've done the half of the spring semester so far...

Practice for the Proficiency Exam
As the well-known Proficiency Exams are coming slowly, I feel that I need some writing practice for it.
The task is: Retry, ETR and the instructions are the following:
1. explain what ETR is;
2. describe a good feature of it;
3. describe a bad feature of it;
4. tell a story about using ETR
ETR is a well-known system in Hungary used by numerous universities (ELTE, Szeged). The capital letters are standing for the abbreviation of Egységes Tanulmányi Rendszer. It was introduced in 2002 in order to help students and teachers to follow the lectures, the exams and the grades via the Internet. In other words, it was created to make every one's life easier.
One of the best features of this system is that it's online so we can have access to it anytime we want. This means that we don't have to travel or wait long hours to sign up for a course. Instead, we can get prepared for our writing up at home, then we just have to switch on the computer with an active Internet connection, type the address of the ETR in the browser and do the whole thing online. This feature has another advantage: we can avoid physical fights with other students.
On the other hand it has several bad properties. The most annoying one is that this system is not elaborated enough. I mean that there are some cases when a student can take up a lesson as many times as he/she wants. Due to this disadvantage there will be no places for those who have to sign up to the same course but actually they cannot. The results of this mistake aren't very good: students have to go to the tutor and fill in a paper with their EHA-codes. In this case everybody has to use the traditional paperwork because of the error of the system.
My experience about using the ETR is bad. Last time I used the system I had to face with the fact that I wasn't fast enough to take up all of my lectures. I sat down in front of my switched computer on time and I started to sign up for my courses. I was successful in case of the first three ones. By the time I arrived at the end of the lesson-list, all the possible places were full so I couldn't write me up ten more classes. The solution for this problem was the mentioned paper filling method that I had to with all of my teachers.
By the way, I hope the new version of ETR will be much better than this one was.

Accident
My last weekend was very busy: I had to study a lot and I had so little time to do that. Anyway, Sunday came, which meant that I had to come back to Pécs. Being exhausted, my only hope was that it was going to be my ultimate week before the Easter holiday. "Hurray! I just have to survive 5 more days, then I'll have some rest. :D"
So, I got prepared for my usual 4 hour-long journey, then I left home. When I arrived at Pécs, it was completely dark. But the most changeable situation came after this travelling: reaching the first bus of line 30. It really seemed to be impossible, because there were numerous people with huge baggage attending for this bus. By the way, I could catch the vehicle, so I didn't have to be waiting for the next one.
But the problem came when I had to get off it. My bags were heavy, the bus was overcrowded and everybody wanted to leave the bus-station at once. I started to get off, but suddenly I misstepped, so I fell down and collapsed. The worst thing is that I couldn't stand up. I fell onto my right ankle which was aching and bulged: I couldn't do anything at all.
Fortunately, there were some kind people among the passengers who could help me in that situation (Thank you very much!) , so I could reach the dorm somehow.
But now I can move hardly as the pain in my ankle obstructs me in my daily routine and in my moving, too.
Anyway, I feel a little bit depressed, because I don't know whether it is broken or not and will it recover by the spring brake. I hope so! :)

Money...
It's March,
which means one special change in our life: we cannot use the Hungarian 1 and 2 Forints for paying any more. The reason is that their production is not really economic for the state. More precisely, the manufacturing of a 1 Ft coin costs more than the worth of the money indeed.
I have ambivalent feelings toward this issue. On one hand I'm happy, because
sometimes I had some troubles with these coins in shops. Their size was so small that it took me for hours to find them in my purse. Moreover, there were cases when they fell out of my pocket and I had to collect them fast in order not to keep up the long queue behind me.
On the other hand, I'm a little bit afraid of the disappearance of the 5 Ft coins. It seems that sooner or later there will be no need for this money and everything will be rounded to a zero-ended number.
Anyway, I'm very excited whether this new system without the 1 and 2 Ft-s works or not. One good feature that I can feel now is that my purse is not as heavy as it used to be. :)
Cheers :))

"Best of"-s
As you could hear in the last week's news, the Oscar Awards were given. Luckily, the
scriptwriters didn't boycott the event with their attempt for higher wages. :)
I could see that the prized films and actors/actresses were predictable; in other words there were not much surprises. I wouldn't like to enlist every awarded things (because that would be a little bit difficult), just a few of them.
So, the most Oscars went to the film No country for old men; best picture, best directing, best adapted screenplay and the best actor in supporting role (Javier Bardem).
The other prized films were:
The golden compass (best visual effects),
Ratatouille (best animated film),
Elisabeth: The Golden Age (best costume design),
Juno (best original screenplay) and
La vie en rose (best make-up and best actress in a leading role (Marion Cotillard)).
Seeing this list, I can say that these are very great films, although I haven't watched all of them. What I saw are Ratatouille and La vie en rose. They are related to France but this isn't the reason why I chose them. They have two different genres: animated movie and drama. I believe that everyone can enjoy these films, even if he/she doesn't like these two movie categories. But I can recommend these 2 films (and also the others listed above), because they deserved the awards for their fascinating features.
But recently I have heard from many people that they watch only those films, which were prized somehow. I think that the people can decide the quality of a film in many cases. So, if I have the chance, I'll see those films I haven't seen before among the enlisted ones. :))

29 February
Finally, February is over! Although it is a special month compared with the other ones, it really seemed to be long for me.
The first 2 weeks were awful, because I had to run up-and-down in order to sign up for my lessons and do the crediting of my courses that I fulfilled in the last semester. The whole process was fatiguing, but it was worth doing it, because I managed to do the crediting. :) Moreover, it was useful as I could gain some experience in doing administration.
During the next week I collected all the photocopies that I need for my lessons. As far as I remember, I never could get those materials so soon. :)
All in all, I took up 18 lessons, from which 7 are Italian, 10 are English and one is pedagogical. It looks not really well, because there are some coincidences of courses and I have to be in a hurry all the time if I don't want to miss the important courses. :( What is surprising is the number of my credits, because I will obtain more than 50 (!) in this semester due to this huge number of classes.
I hope that March will be a luckier month for me. :)
Cheers

Students
As a second-year student, I have to attend pedagogical courses. My favourite lesson is Pedagogical views. This is a very interesting lesson dealing with the different processes during which a person becomes a teacher, and several information in connection with students. I really enjoy this course because of the material we cover and because of the atmosphere.
My last class focused on students in general. The teacher showed us a research about various student types. Well, this was a certain type of a questionnaire made in 1992, but its results are still compatible. In the course we could see only the statistical results. There were 13 different categories all together and the students had to choose the one(s) in which they belong to. These are the following:
1. leader
2. ideal student
3. expert
4. hard-working
5. sportsman/sportswoman
6. side-splitting
7. mode-follower
8. entertaining partner
9. further role
10. shy
11. groundless
12. outsider
13. faceless
I feel that some explanations are needed. Those who are in the further role can be who are interested in arts, are good organisers, or who don't belong to any other categories. The groundless students could be (well, I made some guesses with some of my classmates, because we had no idea about the reference of this one) those who can't find their place in the world, in other words "being in a wrong place at a wrong time". The faceless pupils are the so-called "little grey mice".
During that class, we had to categorise ourselves according to our experience from the primary school. Most people were hard-working, but there was a high percentage in leaders, sportsmen, side-splittings and shy students. These solutions were surprising for me, because many people seem to have been changed since the elementary school times.
At the end of the lesson the teacher told us that these categories have effects to the whole person's life and some people can't get rid of these features. Since this lesson, I've been thinking about this division, because it is very thought-provoking.
I hope you will comment this post, because I'm interested in your opinions.
Cheers :)

Springtime...
As you can see, I've changed the style of my blog. :)You know, springtime is coming and I believed that I need some changes in the colour. I'm so happy this time, because greyness is disappearing from
nature and from people's face. Moreover, the sun is shining, the temperature is above 10 Celsius so I can wear thinner clothes and I can hear birds singing....what else do we need for happiness?Cheers! :)

My nameday
My nameday was today! Well, I'm not a complete egoist, but I have missed certain festivals so far.
The whole day was interesting for me. I overslept a little bit, because I went to bed very late and I woke up in the middle of that short night. Anyway, I prepared for the schoolday and I arrived at the school just on time. The first lesson was English Literature and Culture and it began with...a quiz! :( Only 3 short poems were asked but I was in such a bad position at 8 o'clock in the morning, that I couldn't concentrate, so I confused everything: I made a mixture of two poets' name and I misunderstood the analysis of a shakespearian sonnet. It was a very bad start for the day. :((
After that I had Italian classes, which were quite good. In the break between two lessons I realised that I had left the book that I had chosen for Joe's class at the dorm. I had to go back for it at once, so I couldn't go to the "Excercising the Italian Language" course (a.k.a.: Esercitazione di lingua), which is usually an extremely boring lesson.
I was happy and angry at the same time: missing such a lesson ( glad) and being so forgetful (upset).
But before the afternoon's lesson a very surprising event happened to me. One of my classmate (whose name is also Zsuzsi) gave me some chocolate for celebrating my nameday. I was astonished, because I helped her in the "creditation-business" ( I didn't expect anything for that, of course) and we have been making friendship since September. Fortunately I also had some chocolate with me that I could gave to her. But that situation was so great that I can't forget it. I have never thought that people can be so careful nowadays. Thank you very much! :))

Eurovision
Writing about a happier topic...I chose music and a special event in connection with it: Eurovision Song Festival. This is a strife between songs of all the European countries. The first event was held in 1956 (!) with the participation of only 10 countries. These were: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. During the next decades many other countries joined this competition. Nowadays the number of the participants is more than 40.
Hungary represented itself at the beginning of the 1990s. Its most successful song was Kinek mondjam el vétkeimet performed by Friderika (this song reached the 4th place).
This weekend was dedicated to this event on tv, more precisely to choosing the song that will represent Hungary in May 2008 in Belgrade. There were 15 candidations of music from which a jury and the tv-watchers had to choose the best. Most of the songs were enjoyable but there were some unknown singers for me (like Imre Zsuzsa and her wonderful song Érintés) and there were some performances that I didn't like at all (for example: Gál Csaba Boogie - Úgy figyeltelek). The first-placed song is a beautiful ballad: Szívverés (Heartbeating) from Csézy. I'm glad that this became the winner, because it was one of the best songs. I would like to put here its lyrics, if you don't mind (it is in Hungarian). I think it's a good preparation for the Valentine's Days. ;)
Cheers! :)
Csézy – Szívverés
Égszínkék
Szemeid színét
mint szép emlék,
úgy őrzöm még.
Gyere lépj elő a semmiből,
Úgysem érhet baj,
Mert a tiszta érzést védi majd
Egy láthatatlan pajzs.
Hosszú éjszakán,
lépteidre várok még.
Halvány gyertyaláng,
forró könnyét szórja.
Szívverés
Ébreszti a csendet fel
Cinkos fénysugár
Iderajzol mellém már
Őrangyal
Ide lép halkan
És súg egy szót
Egy vígasztalót.
Az élet néha elszakít,
De túl erős a vágy
Édes gondolattal játszom el,
Mintha mindig itt volnál.
Hosszú éjszakán.....
Mondd miért van így
Nézd mit művel a vágy
Az életem
Vele úgy megosztanám
Hát Istenem
Most légy velem
Küldd el hozzám Őt
Nem számít mennyi még
(Olyan jó Rá várni)

Spring semester
After having finished with my exams, I could have a relaxing holiday. It was a high time for that, because I got exhausted by the end of the exam period.
This holiday was extremely good, because I had a lot of time for everything: I could watch my favourite tv-series, read some books chosen by me, go to the cinema, spend more time with my family and with my friends... That was cool also because my brothers had to go to school while I could do what I wanted. :)
Unfortunately 21 January arrived....yes, it was time to sign up for my lessons in the ETR. Sounded not so well. :( Before that day I prepared the order of my classes so that I could finish with the school on Thursday and avoid "lesson-collision". This plan had been successful for a while until some changes came. One week before the school, I realised that we have to sign up for another lesson, which is going to be held on Tuesday only at 2 o'clock. Great, I had to rearrange the order of my classes and then I got some courses for which I couldn't sign up. :(
The remaining part of the holiday ended very soon and I had to travel to Pécs again. It was very good to meet my schoolmates. Besides this, on the first school-week I had to face with 2 problems in connection with the classes:
1. I have to sign up for many other English lessons that weren't hold in the autumn-semester (these are introductionary courses and seminars in literature, culture and linguistics).
2. I have to do something with my English credits, because my minor isn't with the right code and I must be taken to the appropriate code with all the courses I fulfilled before.
So, I had to do a lot of administrations in the next weeks. :(
Nice beginning of the school, isn't it?...
Happy New Year!
Welcome in 2008!
Leaving back the year 2007 and facing the year 2008 means taking some oaths for the new year. I made a small list about the changes and needs that I have to do:
1. improving my English and Italian
2. learning French
3. doing some sports
4. going to bed before 2 a.m.
5. having more free time
6. spending more time with my friends
7. finding somebody to love
These are my wishes and I would like to fulfill them by the end of this year or sometimes in the future. I always make similar lists, but this time I feel that I can do them.
Good luck to everyone! :)

illness :(
Unfortunately I had to suffer from flu in mid-December, during the exams. :(
I had fever on a day when I had to take two exams: a listening test and another test in Italian civilisation. Luckily, both of them were easy and I got good results (a 4 and a 5). But I was in great despair, because I hadn't been ill during exam periods.
Now I'm recovered, so I have enough energy for my remaining two exams. And I'm trying to change my lifestyle and live healthier, of course ;)
